Most FAQ

How to manage your account and it's features.

No you don't! You can simply upload your design on each product and write a brief message to explain anything about your order.

We will go over the order and make sure we're happy with how the end result will turn out.

Anything that we're unsure about, we will make contact with you to verify.

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to assist with installs.

We currently only produce products. Some products can be mounted by a professional.

Unfortunately at this stage, we can only offer services that our shipping agent utilizes and unfortunately do not offer overnight or 2 day shipping options. If you do wish to utilize faster transport services for your order, please contact us and we can assist with organising alternative freight options.

As long as your order has not been despatched, you can change the shipping address for your order in your account.

In the My Account section, Click on the link next to your order to change your shipping address. If a link to change your shipping address does not appear, your order has either already shipped or has been procesed further.

In this case, please contact us and we will see how we can help.

If you're stuck with the design of what you want printed or maybe you want someone to just design everything for you, flick Versatile Media a message and we will see how we can help.

Alternatively, you can place your order online, and select the help me design addition, which is a small fee which covers Versatile Media designing and making your print!

We are limited to how long we spend on each job so if you upload images of what you want done or provide artwork, we can make nicer prints for you!

Our shipping tool is synced up to our shipping carriers servers for accurate fair priced shipping! We don't put any profit on our shipping so we can keep prices low for you!

Pricing will vary depending on the product and size of your product, but shipping generally starts as low as $5.95.

If your order requires special shipping, we can assist with making alternative arrangements.

Artwork and Graphic Questions

Questions you may have relating to the process!

No you don't! You can simply upload your design on each product and write a brief message to explain anything about your order.

We will go over the order and make sure we're happy with how the end result will turn out.

Anything that we're unsure about, we will make contact with you to verify.

Be sure to convert all fonts to outlines or curves before sending the file / uploading the file.
We may not have the font's that you use.

Please set the size of the proof in proportion to the exact size of the product you're ordering (it needs to follow the same size ratio).
Overprint is recommended. Most products will have 5mm or 10mm of overprint available for your convenience.
If you choose not to include overprint, we will determine the best look for your product and send confirmation prior to production.

All text should be at least two inches from the edge of the products's grommet locations (if there are grommets).

 

Acceptable formats include:

  • EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • PDF (Adobe Reader PDF)
  • PSD (Adobe Photoshop)
  • JPEG (High Resolution JPEG)
  • TIFF (High Resolution TIFF)


Depending on the resolution and image quality, PSD (Photoshop), JPEG, TIFF, PNG and other types of lossy files may become blurry when enlarged.
Thumbnail JPGs or GIFs are not recommended to be used for large prints.

 

If submitting these files please follow these guidelines:

  • 100% scale (full size output) at 100 dpi
  • 50% scale at 200 dpi or higher
  • 25% scale at 300 dpi or higher
  • 10% scale at 600-1200 dpi

These types of files carry limited information about their image and are unable to mathematically scale the quality up.

Vector Artwork is scalable to any size, it never loses resolution due to it's ability to calculate the same design at any size.
Vector files can be submitted in any size, as long as it is proportional to your product's specified size.

Unfortunately all reprints must be a reprint of the approved order at the time.
Please place a new order with the altered design.

All approved artwork that is in production unfortunately cannot be altered at or after this point.

We measure by Width x Height (W x H) and we will keep our measurements in millimeters (mm).

Keep in mind that if you change the orientation, this will simply flip the Width and Height dimensions around in the design application.

A large portion of the products on our website can be designed vertically, the option to change the orientation is located in the product allowing you switch the default orientation between 'Horizontal' and 'Vertical'. This will alter the design area in the design application.

The design application offers basic tips and tool tips within itself. We will offer a detailed tutorial soon!

My Account

Commonly asked questions about My Account section.

The My Account page is where you can view all your account data relating to your purchases including:

  • Pending and Completed purchase activity.
  • Member, Password and Address Book information.
  • Subscription details for our Mailing Lists.
  • Account information.

When shopping or browsing on Versatile Media, you can create an Account by selecting 'My Account' located at the top of any page on our site or by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in your Full Name, Email and Password + optional Newsletter supscription. Simply click 'CREATE AN ACCOUNT' and you'll have your fresh new Versatile Media account ready to go!

 

You can change your account information including your email and password by selecting 'Login' located at the top of any page on our site or by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in your Email and Password. Simply click 'LOG IN' and you'll be presented with your Accounts control panel. 

From here, you can access your Account Information by clicking 'Account Information' on the left hand side panel, about half way up.
Once on this page, you can change your password (any other information) by clicking the appropriate text box and filling out the fields.

When shopping or browsing on Versatile Media, you can login to your Account by selecting 'Login' located at the top of any page on our site or by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in your Email and Password. Simply click 'LOG IN' and you'll be presented with your Accounts control panel.

You can access your Previous Designs, Previous Orders and Current Orders as well as the ability to change any aspect of your Account and Account information.

Resetting your Account Password if you've forgotten it.

When shopping or browsing on Versatile Media, you can reset your Account's password by selecting 'Login' located at the top of any page on our site or by clicking here. You will see a little bit of text under the login panel that says 'Forgot your password?' 'Click Here'. You'll want to click that button to follow the instructions on how to gain access to your Account. Following the prompts on the following screen will yield you access to your account again.

Changing your current Password from within your Account Control Panel.

When shopping or browsing on Versatile Media, you can login to your Account by selecting 'Login' located at the top of any page on our site or by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in your Email and Password. Simply click 'LOG IN' and you'll be presented with your Accounts control panel.

From here, you can access your Account Information by clicking 'Account Information' on the left hand side panel, about half way up.
Once on this page, you can change your password (any other information) by clicking the appropriate text box and filling out the fields.
To change your password, click 'Change Password', you'll be requested to fill out your current password, your new password and the confirmation of your new password.

Click 'Save' once you've filled out everything and the changes will be saved.

Product and Quality Questions

Questions you may have about print quality and materials we use.

Not happy with an item or it's print quality?

  • We're focused on customer satisfaction and understand that sometimes you may recieve a product that you might not be totally satisfied by.
  • Please send an inquiry as soon as you notice the issue, along with photos so we can resolve the inquiry quickly.
  • Please note we don't accept returns on items based on wear and tear. All items are considered perishable and have a limited life dependant on the environment they are placed in.
  • Please keep in mind that the print may look different to the image you uploaded during the design process, the monitor/screen you designed the print on may display your design differently to how it will be printed.
  • More information regarding lifespan of products can be found on each products page.
  • All prints are checked for signs of damage or imperfections prior to shipment.
  • We consider colour, depth and tone to be out of our control due to the varying way images are displayed on different devices.

Printer Resolution

  • We print at at the highest resolution our printers can handle to ensure high quality high detail prints.
  • We print at 1440dpi. Sometimes we will print at a lesser resolution for certain product configurations.

Printer Technology

  • We use the latex HP Latex printer technology. We are expanding our printing capabilities!

We offer a 90 day guarantee on most products, this is to ensure that products do not contain manufacturing defects, and, if the product fails, breaks, or has ink issues/quality issues due to a manufacturing defect during that period, we will either replace the damaged product or provide a store credit.

Versatile Media reserves the right to investigate the claim and determine whether or not the claimed product is covered by our quality guarantee.

We will work alongside you until you're confident the design you've chosen is perfect for your needs, happy to help you with the process!

Payment Options and Terms

Commonly asked questions about payment

All our products are printed and prepared locally in Perth, WA.
We proof check all prints processed on our website, we will make sure it comes out how you want it too!
Our website allows for easy designing and product customisation so you can personalise your design to your liking.
We have a huge range of products that are all printed to the highest spec available.

We're able to offer competitive pricing due to our small business structure and low overheads, in turn we're able to pass these savings on to you.

If there's any errors with the order on our behalf, we will ship a replacement of the item to you with immediate shipment. Alternatively, we can offer a refund of the order to you in the form of a store credit or a credit back to the original form of payment.
Please note that all returns must be reported within 7 days of the shipments delivery.

Please contact us at sales@versmedia.com.au with pictures of the damaged or incorrect product and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Refunds will be issued within 7 days if approved in the form in a replacement product or credit on your original payment.

If a refund is claimed after 45 days of receiving payment, you will be issued a store credit.

We're located in Perth, Western Australia! All your products are printed and designed in Australia.

Once we have processed your order and it is approved and ready for production, we will generally produce and despatch your order within 48 hours. Shipping can vary but is generally delivered within 7 working days after production.

In the event that the order is returned back to us by the shipping carrier, we will attempt to make contact with customer to re-attempt delivery. If we are unable to contact the customer, we will unfortunately need to dispose of your order after 28 days.

Our estimated delivery times can unfortunately sometimes be inaccurate and may not reflect the actual final delivery date. We apologise for any delays in your order but assure you it is on the way! Sometimes our freight carriers can become congested in times of greater mail volume. If your order still hasn't arrived after 5 days after the given delivery date, definitely contact us so we can investigate further.
